Technics SB-M2 Studio Monitor
XXX-RARE Studio Monitor 2 from Technics. Very few were sold as the price was not reachable for most enthousiasts. Produced in the early 80ies, this was Technics´ answer to Sony´s APM 8.
The sound is neutral with a very strong, precise and dry bass. It is known as "better sounding" than the 4-Way Monitor 1. Less complicated.
I checked these speakers with different amps. It is in fact very uncomplicated and plays fine with 30 watt tube ams as well as with Technics SE-A3.
The optical condition is fine, light wear only, but nothing serious.
Definetly a highly recommended collectible.
