JBL L-250, never seen Makassar Ebony Edition!
A true 80ies Legend. The JBL L-250 is one of the best remembered shapes from that period. Regardless thier size, it is easy to position these huge systems even into medium and small living rooms with sized down to 20 square meters. The well proportioned enclosure always intergates itself quite charming without ever being overwhelming... not only design wise.
Sound wise, a true JBL Speaker with all thier virtues. Easy going, uncomplicated, no matter with what kind of coponents they perform with or speaker they drive. Just way more detailed and grown up than thier famous 70ies predecessors. A resistance patchbay on the back side allows perfect adaption of the speaker to the room acoustics without any loss of sound quality. Simply a supreme ruler with the legendary L44-1 tweeter.
Nice condition from Harman Germany, JBL importer. XXX-Rare never seen before All chassis are original including the tweeters. The woofers have been reconed at lautsprecherklinik.de with original JBL parts. So the woofers are practically new.
Optically, there is some patina here and there. One rear patchbay changed the color, it is not paint. The anodization reacted with UV light over the years. i have no other idea. Further you find light wear around bottom and a strange structure around the tweeter, see the picture.
